Why I hate you if you hate Taylor Swift

(I don't actually hate you, but I strongly dislike you)

I have been a dedicated Swiftie for more than half of my life, and I can say honestly that it has been pretty great. However, I have had to deal with some pretty terrible people. I have decided to put out a formal explanation as to why I will hate you if you hate Taylor Swift:

( PSA: This is only to people who say they hate her as a person, not her music because I understand that not everyone has the same music taste)

1. If you say you hate her because all she does it write songs about her exes: If this is your reason for hate, then you must also hate Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Rex Orange County, and many more. If you do not hate these artists I just listed, then you can probably see why I hate you. Almost everyone in the music industry writes songs about romantic experiences, and to cherry pick Taylor is uncalled for and misogynistic.

2. If you say you hate her because she is just like any other female singer: If this your reason, did every other female singer write Love Story and Our Song WHILE THEY WERE STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL? No, I didn’t think so. Like it or not, Taylor Swift is an incredibly gifted song writer, and to she is just like everyone else is incredibly ignorant.

3. If you say you don’t have a reason, you just hate her: I have heard this excuse far too many times and I am sick of it. If you just “hate her” you need to take a deep look in the mirror and try to find out where this unnecessary hatred is because I can assure you, Taylor has nothing to do with it.
